Fully automatic capper/decapper for large sample volumes. It can open or close an entire rack at once. The unscrewed caps can be transferred to a cap rack or kept in the device - to be precise, on the bits - until rewinding. The entire workflow is completed in less than a minute.

The device's "rack-to-head" technology ensures higher reliability and easier maintenance. The device identifies the inserted rack based on its barcode, detects its height, and then lifts the rack to the bits. After removing or replacing the caps, it lowers the rack to the starting position.

The touch screen control ensures easy operation, while the robust design ensures a long service life. Suitable for integration into automated systems.

The compatibility of the four different versions covers all LVL screw-capped tubes. Each version covers 1 rack type. For the 96-position SBS standard rack tubes, two types of devices are available, one for external and one for internal threaded tubes. The different types work with the correct torque for the compatible tubes.

Using the correct torque is very important for proper closure. Caps that are too loosely screwed on will not provide a leak-proof seal, while too much torque can damage the thread, which can also lead to an improper seal. The appropriate torque for each LVL tube has been determined based on the rack type (SBS 96 - 7Ncm, SBS 48 - 15Ncm, SBS 24 - 15Ncm).
