Thick papers made from selected cellulose fibers without impregnation.
They are used in antibiotic and sulfonamide resistance tests, in the identification of pathogens, and in the investigation of their behavior against given in vitro chemotherapy conditions. During the test, the test sheets are impregnated with the antibiotic to be tested and then placed on the inoculated nutrient. Depending on the effectiveness of the medicinal substance, a smaller or larger inhibition zone is created.
