Small device for microbiology, genetics and molecular biology laboratories. Available with three types of hermetically sealed rotors for centrifugation of microtubes, PCR tubes or capillaries.
The control panel of the laboratory centrifuge is the same as that of the previously described MICROCEN 24 type: the digital (LED) display shows the current speed and the remaining time of operation. As long as the "short cycle" button is pressed, the centrifuge operates at maximum speed or at the selected speed. The last set parameters are stored in the memory.
The open lid, start, stop and short-cycle functions are indicated by lights. The degree of acceleration and braking of the rotor can be changed according to two operating modes - by selecting fast or gentle mode. For accelerations, see the table on the rotors and adapters page.
The Biocen 22R laboratory centrifuge has similar features to the Biocen 22 laboratory centrifuge. Refrigerable laboratory centrifuge temperature range: - 20 °C to +40 °C. Cooling maintains sample temperature even at maximum speed.
