The material of the filter stands is stainless steel, except for the side legs (blue) and the knobs of the taps, which are made of sintered aluminum (blue).
In each filter unit, the amount of extraction can be regulated separately, with the valve on the stand. There are versions with 3 and 6 workplaces.
The membrane filter is held by a stainless steel frit with a porosity of 70 µm. This porosity ensures adequate suction and at the same time protects the membrane from tearing. The filter housing is closed with one movement (bayonet).
There are two main types of filter stand:
- type A can be equipped with funnels
- type B with rubber plug connection
100, 300 and 500 ml stainless steel funnels can be ordered for A-type racks (see table). SF and SS type filter housings (with silicone tubes) can be used for B-type racks.
