"CERAMUS" is Hirschmann's new brand, which builds on the experience of long-established liquid dispensers. This dispenser family provides the expected quality thanks to the high-precision manufactured ceramic parts (piston and valves) and the high-quality DURAN glass cylinder.
The piston and valves are made of high purity ceramic, the cylinder is made of DURÁN glass and the valve springs are made of Hastelloy.
The glass-mounted Hirschmann dispensers can be adjusted according to a digital scale - this ensures always accurate dosing. The devices can maintain the specified accuracy at an operating temperature between +5 and 50 °C.
CERAMUS FIX and Ceramus Classic (see the latter on the next page) are traditional, cylinder-shaped.
Each dispenser is supplied with a quality certificate according to DIN 12600.
Accessories: each device comes with 3 adapters (A 32, S 40, A 38), which can be used to mount the device directly on the chemical glass.
The dispensers can be autoclaved at 121 °C.
