Microprocessor device for diluting and dispensing liquid, homogenized samples in a closed, i.e. sterile, system. BIO DILUTOR is available in two versions, Basic and Advanced.

Characteristics of some types:

BASIC type: equipment based on precise volume measurement, which is the autoclavable, selectable volume 1; 2.5; 5; or dispense the diluted sample in pre-programmed steps using a 10 ml syringe. The dilution is done in a sterile pipette tip at a ratio of 1:1 or 1:1000. The smallest amount that can be diluted is 1 ml.

The procedure is simple: by pressing the button of the hand-held dispenser with a pipette tip, the tip is automatically filled with the diluting liquid. After filling, the device forms an air bubble at the end of the tip to separate the sample and the solvent to be absorbed in the next step. Then dip the pipette tip into the sample, press the button again and suck up the set amount of sample. With the next button press, the diluted sample can be dispensed into a suitable container.

ADVANCED type: RS 232 outputs enable the connection of a printer and an external scale. In addition to the described characteristics of the BASIC type, it is also capable of gravimetric dilution based on the determined weight of the solvent. The device can store 9 programs.
Accessories: 10 ml syringe, complete silicone tube system, hand-held dispenser, 60 sterile tips in a box and a half-liter container.
