NÜVE's Class II A2 biological safety cabinets are made in two sizes. About 70% of the room air drawn in through front panel is filtered through a HEPA filter and delivered to the work space with laminar flow, the remaining 30% of the air is returned to the laboratory airspace through a second HEPA filter.
The HEPA filter filters out 99.999% of particles larger than 0.3 microns from the air, so the air enters the workplace with H14 purity, protecting both the user and samples from contamination. The air coming out of the equipment leaves through another HEPA filter.
The microprocessor control takes care of increasing the performance of the fan, compensating for possible clogging of the HEPA filter. The closing of the front window is airtight, its opening and closing is facilitated by air springs. When the door is open, the cab sounds an alarm. The devices have a D.O.P. for air quality control. with stub.
Fluorescent lighting, operating hours counter and 2 pcs. a mains power socket is included.
Optional: UV lamp, gas tap with magnetic valve, and vacuum tap available on request.
NÜVE's BSC cabinets are certified according to the EN 12469:2000 standard by TUV NORD.
