The laminar cabinet protect the sample from impurities in the laboratory air and from cross-contamination. The sample is separated from the environment with a sterile air stem. Not suitable to work with samples that are dangerous for the operator.
The air entering the cabinet from above goes to a pre-filter, which filters particles larger than 0.5 microns (G4 purity) from the air, thereby significantly increasing the service life of the main filter.
The sterile air with 99.999% purity is produced by a HEPA filter, which filters particles larger than 0.3 microns (H14 purity) from the air. In the cabinet, the sterile air flows from top to bottom – protecting the samples from external contamination – and then exits in all directions on the surface of the workplace.
The release of air in all directions has a good effect on the service life of the main filter, and the operator feels more comfortable with less air flowing towards him.
The speed of the air flow is 0.45 meters/second, which is constantly displayed on the digital display of the control panel. The microprocessor control takes care of increasing the performance of the fan, compensating for possible clogging of the main filter.
The front (openable) window of the cabinet is made of polycarbonate (PC), the work surface is made of 2 mm thick stainless steel plate. The frame of the device is made of steel treated with electrostatic powder coating. Two main power sockets (on the right and on the left) are standard accessories. The laminar cabinet with fluorescent lighting can also be installed on a suitable table or stand.
UV lamp, stand and pins can be ordered as options.
Support stands, UV lamps, vacuum and gas valves.
