Systec autoclaves VX, DX and VE, DE series devices automatically store the data of 500 sterilization cycles. This data can be used for service purposes. SD card data storage can be requested as an option, with which the data of 10,000 cycles can be saved without the constant use of an external computer. A printer or the computer software called SADS can be used for documentation.

VB and DB series autoclaves do not store data, so documentation can only be done with the optional built-in printer for these devices.

Printer for documenting the sterilization process
Electronic autoclaves can be equipped with a dot matrix printer, suitable for documenting the sterilization process. The printer prints the program parameters on 58 mm wide paper, as well as machine and load identifiers when the program is started, and then continuously registers the entire procedure. During the sterilization phase, it prints a line every half minute, displaying the time since the start of the program, program phase, temperature and pressure. The document can be attached to the sterilized item.

Computer software
Another way to document is to use an external computer. Communication between the autoclave and the computer is possible with the SADS (Systec Autoclave Documentation System) computer documentation software. The software runs under WINDOWS (XP, WIN7, WIN10). It creates a complete - non-modifiable - log of the sterilization cycles run.

The PC software named SADS is suitable for programming and monitoring the autoclave with a computer, thus it is used for complete documentation of the process, via the serial (RS 232 and RS 485) ports of the autoclave. The ports are network compatible. Up to eight autoclaves can be controlled simultaneously with one computer. The external PC is provided by the customer.

FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliant PC software: only for autoclaves equipped with touch screen controls such as the HX series (and VX series devices with optional touch screen controls).
