Many users need a compact, flexible device that is suitable for quickly filling even a few Petri dishes with special agar variants. The Petriswiss PS 20 mini is a compact device developed to meet this need, which can fill 20 Petri dishes at the same time. The device is fully automatic. The Petri dishes must be placed in a holder made of stainless steel. The filled dishes are transferred to the holder on the other side of the device. The 20 dishes are filled in two minutes!
If you want to place the filled petri dishes not in a vertical holder, but one by one on a flat surface, then an additional table can be connected to the device. The microprocessor controller of the device has a large touch screen. Thanks to the user-friendly software, the operation of the device can be mastered in seconds.
The nutrient medium to be dosed is delivered by the built-in peristaltic pump. Thanks to the special design of the pump, it is easy to handle. The tube can be changed in seconds. The cover that clamps down the tubes has a spring closure, which significantly increases the life of the silicone tubes.
From the tube set, it is worth ordering as many reserves as the number of medium types expected to be dispensed within an autoclaving cycle.
The system can be calibrated without a manual, the steps to be followed are shown on the large display.
