The cooling of the sterilized liquids is not achieved by their accelerated evaporation, but by cooling the walls with tap water. During the cooling phase, cooling water is passed through a cooling spiral mounted on the outside of the autoclave chamber. In this way, the chamber remains completely "empty", nothing inappropriate restricts the use of the chamber's space.
The cooling of the walls creates a vacuum in the space, so liquids would begin to evaporate violently if we did not use compressed air support.
The rapid cooling technology is developed as follows:
Thanks to the compressed air support, liquid loss will not be noticeable even from half-open containers.
With this technology, containers can be filled up to their nominal volume (up to the shoulder), the containers can be either open or completely closed.
Another advantage of this system is that the heat extracted from the autoclave is not released to the laboratory environment, but is transported by the cooling water (usually tap water).
Thanks to Systec's rapid cooling technology, when the liquids in the test tubes are killed, the liquid stays in the tubes and the caps stay on the tubes, they are not spit out by the sudden drop in pressure!
Compressed air can also be used for the external support of containers prone to deformation (e.g. plastic cans, blister-wrapped samples, etc.) (option: mixed atmosphere sterilization).
Acceleration of cooling after liquid programs with internal fan mixing. It only works together with spiral cooling!

More informationsBuild into a wall autoclaves of 90 - 1,580 liters for serving cleanrooms or for disposing materials in BSL2, BSL3 and BSL4 laboratories.
More informationsVX-series devices include a steam generator as standard. These are autoclaves without compromise. Vertical laboratory autoclaves from 40 to 150 liters in volume.
More informationsThe self-cooling of the liquids - due to the thermal insulation of the autoclave - only happens very slowly. Faster access to the sample can be achieved by rapid cooling.
More informationsThis rapid cooling uses the principle of evaporation of the sterilized liquid, so some liquid loss (5 - 10 %) must be expected.
More informationsExtra fast cooling, cools down a 150-liter autoclave in about 10-15 minutes, in which approx. 40 liters of liquid were sterilized.
