With this cooling, the outer surface of the autoclave chamber is cooled by a fan. The cooling efficiency is close to that of a water-cooled system.
Increased foaming of liquids can be a problem, as compressed air support cannot be assigned to this cooling method.
The use of external air cooling is justified when water cooling cannot be solved and the large amount of heat released into the laboratory space does not cause problems.
Thanks to the compressed air support, the bottles can be filled up to their nominal volume, and there is no loss of liquid from the tubes and flasks.

More informationsVX-series devices include a steam generator as standard. These are autoclaves without compromise. Vertical laboratory autoclaves from 40 to 150 liters in volume.
More informationsThe self-cooling of the liquids - due to the thermal insulation of the autoclave - only happens very slowly. Faster access to the sample can be achieved by rapid cooling.
