Material: high purity polypropylene (PP). RNase-, DNase- and endotoxin-free.
The filter placed in the pipette tip prevents the particles emitted by the sample from entering the pipette cylinder system, so we can maintain the cleanliness of our pipette (it does not remember the previous sample), increase the service life of our pipette, and reduce the time spent on their maintenance / repair.
In the Biohit SafetySpace filter pipette tips, there is a larger space than usual between the sample and the filter (the filter insert is placed as close as possible to the cone of the tip), so there will be a larger safety volume between the liquid and the filter, thanks to which there is less chance of oversuction of the filter.
Recommended applications: for microbiology, cell cultures, molecular biology, foaming liquids, organic solvents, serial dosing with electronic pipettes and reverse pipetting technique.
