Rotary vacuum evaporators that can be used to carry out everyday laboratory applications - distillation, solvent recovery or concentration, liquid-degassing, powder drying - under vacuum. The equipment consists of the basic device equipped with a glass top (three types of glass top can be selected) and the water bath, which must be ordered separately. You can choose from two types of water baths.
The basic device's extremely stable scaffolding, balanced elevator mechanism, and simple controls make it easy to work with. Its strong induction motor and electronic control result in stepless rotation speed and continuous operation even for a long time.
The RE400B type water bath is an integral, but not exclusive, part of the system. The bath is not directly connected to the scaffolding, which makes cleaning easier, but it can also be used as an independent device. The inner surface of the tub is made of stainless steel. Protection against overheating is built into the water bath.
The basic device can be ordered with three types of glassware set according to the application and space requirements.
RE400 type: diagonally positioned water-cooled glassware set for general distillation.
RE401 type: vertical water-cooled glassware set for solvent distillation with a higher boiling point and smaller space requirements.
RE402 type: vertical (dry) ice cooler glassware set for volatile or low-boiling solvents. The 1 liter ice container can be easily emptied with the drain tap.
For all three types, refilling during operation is possible using a valve and the Teflon tube connected to it. The material of the seals is Teflon with graphite coating.
For extra safety, the glass elements (top and flasks) can also be ordered in a plastic-coated version.
The vacuum can be provided in the simplest and cheapest way with a water jet pump that can be operated from a water tap. The vacuum pump offers a more precise solution. The rotary evaporators are supplied with a 1-liter evaporating flask, a 1-liter collecting flask, and a clip for holding the abrasive.
