SYSTEC has become known as a manufacturer of top quality laboratory autoclaves. At the same time as the autoclaves, they also manufacture high-quality nutrient media preparator autoclaves. In connection with the latter devices, they developed their own petri dish filling machine, MediaFill.
The special feature of the system is that it uses a double carousel, so the carousel with dishes already filled with nutrient medium can be removed with one movement, and the carousel with empty petri dishes can be placed on the device with another movement. The entire operation can be completed within a minute - and charging can be continued immediately. This makes this system the largest capacity available on the market!
The MediaFill can fill 90 mm dishes as standard, but it can also be prepared for dishes with a smaller diameter if required. The basic device includes a peristaltic pump and a modern touch screen controller.
The charging area is protected against infection with a UV lamp. Shaking function to remove bubbles and ensure uniform medium thickness. This function is also suitable for mixing samples.
The device accepts three types of carousels:
- For 220 petri dishes
- For 440 petri dishes
- For 660 petri dishes
The empty petri dishes are automatically taken, filled and placed in another column of the carousel. The filled dishes can be taken out together with the carousel and a carousel filled with another dishes can be inserted! This is a unique service.
The carousel that meets your needs must be ordered separately!
The device is also available in a test tube filling version. The carousel is replaced by test tube holders (max. 4 pieces), for tubes up to Ø30 mm.
