New technology:
Disadvantages of the electrodes of traditional pH meters:
· the short life of the electrode, which e.g. causes glass breakage and soiling
· the electrode reacts sensitively to contamination: this results in incorrect measurements
· pour out the preservation solution
· difficult to use for calibration
· missing half-handed insertion electrode for liquid and highly plastic media
· the lack of a combination of temperature and pH measurement
TESTO pH probes contain a gel electrolyte instead of a liquid electrolyte as the normal medium for pH measurement. This allows the use of a hole diaphragm between the probe and the case. Result: pH probes are not only spill-proof, but also almost maintenance-free, robust and hardly prone to soiling.
The combination of the pH insertion tip and the thermometer in a one-handed instrument is unique, which enables accurate and fast temperature compensation.
What is also new is that the preservation solution cannot be poured out: the container preserves the potassium chloride solution in gel form.
pH1 probe head for liquid media
pH2 probe head for semi-solid media
(jelly, cream, meat, cheese, jam and fruits)
pH3 probe head with BNC sleeve
(for any electrode with BNC connector)
Features of the device: automatic and manual temperature compensation, two-line display for displaying the temperature and PH value together, automatic final value recognition, 1, 2 or 3-point calibration option. Can be attached to belt or wall. TopSafe protective cover included.
