VELP manufactures refrigerated incubators in two sizes (120 and 215 liter internal space).
The FTC120 type incubator is specially designed for the Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) determination. Its temperature is suitable for BOD - fixed 20°C, its control is traditional. Temperature resolution: 1°C.
The other incubators have "Auto-Tunning" temperature control, variable temperature between 3 and 50°C, and internal air mixing. The temperature resolution of these devices is 0.1°C, and the temperature homogeneity is better (±0.5°C) than the version without a fan.
BOD analysis requires mixing of the incubated samples, so the mixing devices must be powered. VELP installs internal network plugs (2 pieces) in each incubator, so they are suitable for BOD analysis incubation tasks.
VELP manufactures racks with 6 and 10 slots for BOD incubation vessels. The rack contains a magnetic stirrer that can be connected to the mains plug built into the incubator.
If more than two incubation racks are to be placed in the incubator, the distributor with code number 331.A00221 must be ordered.
Refrigerated incubators are made with or without an internal glass door. Incubators marked with "E" at the end of the code number do not have an internal glass door (e.g. FOC120E). The code number of the glass door versions ends with the letter "I" (e.g. FOC120I).
