Various accessories can be purchased for laminar flow and biological safety cabinets. Some elements, such as waterproof sockets or pins are part of the basic equipment of many cabins, so these options must always be chosen depending on the equipment of the cabin.

Infrared device sterilizers: they are made with two inner diameter chambers, type I 37 mm, type II 20 mm. Their average internal temperature is 825oC ±50oC. Size: 150x95x210(h) mm. Power: 180 Watts. Weight: 1.6 kg.

Formalin vaporizer: this device is mostly used for sterilizing BSC cabinets for periodic disinfection, or e.g. before changing the filter. The device must be placed in the space of the cabinet, and then the formalin (120 ml) must be evaporated with the air circulation turned on, with the cabinet gas-tight. Sterilization time: 8 hours. After sterilization, the formalin must be neutralized, the device below is suitable for this.

Formalin vaporizer and neutralizer: this is a two-unit (VAP3) device; one half first evaporates the formalin, then the other half neutralizes the previously introduced formalin by evaporating Ammonium-Hydrogen-Carbonate. Both devices accept 120 ml of liquid. Their power: 230 Watts.

Laminar air flow tester: the device sprays up to 1.5 ml of water per minute. By introducing the mist-like spray into the laminar flow, the lines of the flow will be visible, thus also its possible defects. Maximum operating time: < 15 minutes. After that, the device must cool down. Tank volume: 35 ml. Power: 30 Watts.

Armrest: in case of continuous work, it may be necessary to keep the operator's hand at a certain height. The height-adjustable armrest helps with this. Its height can be adjusted between 85 and 100 mm. Material: polished stainless steel.
