After the washable pre-filter, the air enters the workspace through the main HEPA filter, protecting the user and sample from contamination. HEPA filters: filter out 99.999% of particles larger than 0.3 µm. 100% of the air coming out of the cabinet goes through a second HEPA filter into the extraction system.

These cabinets are recommended for working with odorous toxic compounds and other samples that do not want to be returned to the laboratory.
