The SMART DILUTOR is a microprocessor-based device based on mass measurement, integrated with an electronic balance and a liquid dosing pump, which is used for diluting microbiological samples in a stomacher bag. In the first step, the sterile stomacher bag is placed on the weighing plate of the device.

The bag can be opened simply by using the adhesive clay (plastic) placed on the bag holder, without touching the area around the mouth of the bag. We then measure the sample into the opened bag, then by pulling the dosing arm forward, the device automatically dispenses diluting liquid into the bag according to the pre-programmed dilution ratio. Fluid is added in quick, gentle steps. A complete procedure takes only half a minute.

Finally, the stomacher bags can be placed in the practical holder made of stainless steel. The device is also suitable for dilution in containers with the help of optional accessories (see table). The device has an automatic external calibration option. The RS 232 and ETHERNET outputs allow the connection of a printer and an additional unit with up to four pumps.

The SMART DILUTOR diluting device is available in one or two liquid pump versions:
STANDARD: dilution device with one pump.
DUAL: dilution device with two pumps.
Accessories (in the same number as the number of pumps): autoclavable tube set, 5-liter glass container, 6-place stomacher bag holder stand, silicone plug with stainless steel tubes and filter.
