With polycarbonate (PC) tank
In the plastic tubs of the devices, water can be used as a heat transfer medium up to a maximum of 100 °C. The tub is transparent, so the objects in it can be observed with the naked eye. The devices are suitable for internal circulation. The thermostat heads on the tubs can be slid back and forth and positioned. With stainless steel tank
In the stainless steel tub of the devices, water can be used as a heat transfer medium up to a maximum of 100 °C. In the case of higher tempering temperature requirements, suitable oil must be filled into the tub. In this case, a maximum temperature of 200 °C (depending on the type of thermostat) can be reached.

The stainless steel tub and the accessory cover to prevent evaporation are easy to clean. Thermostats mounted on 3-liter or larger stainless-steel tubs are suitable for both internal and external circulation (for thermostating an external unit, e.g. refractometer). All thermostats include the connecting pipe ends of the external circulation and the built-in cooling coil as standard. A drain tap (up to 12-22 liters) can be ordered for the tanks. Meaning of the types, e.g.: order number 37.ETB3T100 covers the following device:

ETB or EB indicates the type of tank (stainless steel, if it were PB here, it would mean a polycarbonate tub)
3 shows the volume of the tub in liters
while T100 is the type of circulating thermostat.
